• Ahmed ElShafee, Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
• Graduated from Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University in 2001.
• Promoted as Full professor from Supreme Council of Universities in April 2023.

• In business field, he worked in telecommunications industry (OTH “Orascom Telecomm subsidiaries”) for almost 10 years in the following fields,
– Operations and maintenance
– Core network technical support

– Research and development
• In addition to his work in the field of programming and software development for several software houses and various retail clients.

• In academic field, he worked as an educator (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) as follows:
– ACU (CSIT faculty, and Engineering Faculty “FOE”) (2009-2023)
– NU (ITCS school, and Engineering school “EAS”) (2015-2023)
– FUE (Faculty of Engineering and Technology “FET”) (2022-2023)
– ITI, 9-Month Professional Training Diploma, Cyber security Track

• Published 33 Research papers, in international conferences and journals (recent researches published in Q1, and Q2 journals) in Electrical Engineering and computer Engineering related fields, As per Google scholar.
• Researches were cited by more than 610 other research, and h-index is 9 till Nov 2023.
• Won The Best Young Scientist Award as per the conference council recommendation (National Radio Science Conference 2001), Alexandria, Egypt, for his paper entitled “Rotor Enhanced Block Cipher (REBC)”.
